Next Mission Digital

Funding model

Money in through the right account. Money out with approval.

Before a donation button goes live, Next Mission Digital needs a fiscal sponsor or nonprofit-controlled account. Until then, we collect pledge interest and in-kind sponsor interest only.

Express Support Interest
Mission planning workspace showing launch and funding steps.
1. PledgeSupporter expresses intent before the payment path is live.
2. SponsorFiscal sponsor or nonprofit authority approves the flow.
3. GiveDonation goes through the approved platform.
4. SpendApproved expenses are paid or reimbursed from project funds.

Cash support

  • Donation page belongs to the sponsor or nonprofit.
  • Funds are recorded for Next Mission Digital.
  • Admin fee is deducted by the sponsor if applicable.
  • Expenses require receipts, purpose, and approval.

In-kind support

  • Hosting credits.
  • Domain or email credits.
  • Security and password-manager seats.
  • Automation, AI, CRM, design, or training support.

Current rule

  • No personal bank routing.
  • No personal Venmo or PayPal donation links.
  • No tax-deductible claims before approval.
  • No donation button until the sponsor/nonprofit path is active.
If a company wants to help now, the cleanest ask is pledge interest, introductions, or in-kind credits that can be activated once the fiscal sponsor or nonprofit authority confirms the rules.
